**Job Title: Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown or ICU Nurse**

**Shift:** 7A - 7:30P

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown or ICU Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in neuro-progressive care and be capable of delivering exceptional patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Provide comprehensive care to patients with neurological conditions, monitoring their vital signs and responding quickly to changes in their status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following all safety protocols and standards of practice.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records within the Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Participate in the Neuro-Progressive competency exam upon offer acceptance.


**Qualifications:**

- Previous experience in Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown or ICU settings is required.
- Epic experience is essential for this position.
- Must possess a valid nursing license.
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively discuss patient care with team members and families.

**Additional Information:**

- Scrub colors: Navy Blue.
- Candidates must be local residents; please refer to the ineligibility list for counties.
- This position involves potential floating to other units as needed.
- This position is currently open due to a staffing vacancy and offers guaranteed hours over a contract period of 91 weeks.
