• Position: Oncology Data Manager
• Location: Remote
• Position Type: Contract
• Work Authorization: USC

Description:

• The Contractor shall provide an Oncology Data Specialist-Credentialed (ODS-C) credentialed subject matter expert experienced in reporting hospital cancer registry data to national standards.
• The individual shall have the educational requirements to become and maintain the Oncology Data Specialist credential through the National Cancer Registry Association.
• The POC shall be knowledgeable about CoC data standards for accredited cancer programs and processes for applying national standard setter guidelines for cancer registries. This includes the CDC, NAACCR, American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) staging protocol, and the NCI - SEER standards.
• The POC shall be experienced in conducting audits to assess the quality, completeness, and timeliness of cancer registry data submissions. The individual shall be experienced in managing large teams of cancer registry hospital staff.
• This POC will be responsible for training Contractor staff on VA systems, Directives and policies
