Role:

Glowbar is seeking a Lead Esthetician

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Performs all treatments with Glowbar method protocols at the highest technique level and encourages team members to do so as well; complete each Glowbar treatment in 30 minutes - no more, no less
• Ensure each client receives an extraordinary skincare treatment for their individual needs and goals, including but not limited to: extractions, dermaplane, LED therapy, high frequency, etc.
• Walk client through the “why” and the benefits of each step of treatment
• Supports training sessions and team mentorship for home studio as instructed by Training Specialist and/or leadership (willing to travel when needed)
• Receives Glowbar treatments as needed from new hires and studio team members to gauge peer performance; provide weekly feedback to Studio Manager
• Conducts “Stop-Ins” as needed to rectify any unsatisfactory client services
• Partners with Studio Manager and takes ownership in studio growth in order to drive results
• Achieves (or exceeds!) monthly product sales targets of $2,000 by thoughtfully educating clients about products and personalized at-home routine suggestions
• Educate clients about products at provide at-home routine suggestions using “Seal the Deal”

Qualifications :

• Valid Esthetics License (600+ hours of training) that meet state mandated requirements
• 2+ years experience as a licensed Esthetician at a high-volume spa/salon with a proven track record of excellence in esthetics; prior people management experience a plus!
• Availability and commitment to be a full-time Esthetician at Glowbar (at least one weekend day and one closing shift per week required)
• Prior experience (and confidence) achieving product sales goals
• Must love hospitality and interacting with customers
• Must have the ability to prioritize and multi-task within a fast-paced environment
• Must be a forward-thinking problem solver with a strong work ethic who has compassion for employees and clients
• Passion for beauty, skincare, learning and trying new things every day!

Working Conditions
At Glowbar, our studios are active, client-focused environments — and we want you to know what’s involved behind the scenes. Here’s what you can expect physically in this role:

• Frequent standing, walking, and movement throughout the entire shift
• Bending, reaching, twisting, and lifting (up to 15 pounds) — including merchandise, laundry, and back-of-house supplies
• Climbing up and down stairs during shift operations
• Remaining mobile and on your feet for the full duration of your shift (shift lengths may vary)
• Exposure to varying temperatures and humidity levels, particularly in laundry or supply areas
• Performing operational tasks such as restocking, organizing supplies, and light cleaning
• Required to work weekends, evenings and holiday to support our client demand

Compensation: $21-23/hour
