**Job Description: Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist**

**Shift:** 7A - 5:30P

**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist to perform diagnostic examinations as directed by an Interventional Cardiologist. This role involves conducting procedures related to invasive cardiology, noninvasive cardiology, and peripheral vascular studies. The technologist will gather and record subjective data to assist in establishing accurate anatomical and physiological diagnoses for patients.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform diagnostic examinations in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with Interventional Cardiologists during various cardiology procedures.
- Collect and document patient data to facilitate accurate diagnosis.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain quality standards throughout procedures.
- Maintain certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Adult Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Participate in on-call commitments, which include one weeknight and one weekend each month.

**Qualifications:**
- Minimum of an Associate Degree or completion of an approved Cardiovascular Training Program or accredited Allied Health Program.
- Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) is required.
- At least 2 years of experience in the cardiovascular specialty.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.

**Additional Information:**
- Reason for opening: Special, internal vacancy, or leave coverage.
- Position requires floating to other units as necessary.
- Work schedule includes specific days and hours as indicated.
