We are thrilled to advertise the Inventory Systems Analyst position for the Wonderfield Distribution (AFCDC).

Position Overview:

The Inventory Systems Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing inventory levels across the organization to support operational efficiency and service level goals. This role plays a key part in maintaining inventory accuracy, reducing carrying costs, and improving supply chain performance through data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Analyze inventory data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for optimization
• Maintain accurate inventory records across systems; support cycle counts and reconciliations
• Collaborate with purchasing, planning, and warehouse teams to ensure appropriate inventory levels
• Prepare and present regular inventory reports and KPIs, such as inventory turns, fill rates, and stockouts
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions
• Support forecasting efforts and identify safety stock requirements
• Assist with the implementation of new tools and processes related to inventory management
• Partner with IT and operations to improve system accuracy and workflow efficiency
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Analytics, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in inventory, demand planning, or supply chain analytics
  • Experience in food distribution and retail preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
  • Strong MS Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, BC)
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred
  • Knowledge of lean inventory practices and continuous improvement methodologies preferred
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities

  Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
