Location: Herndon, VA or Westminster, CO; this is a full time onsite position - hybrid/remote work not supported.
Principal Responsibilities:
Design and build intuitive, responsive front-end tools that support geospatial and intelligence analysis across diverse data types and sources.
Develop user-centric interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks, translating complex user requirements into clean, maintainable code.
Collaborate with back-end and data teams to integrate services and visualize high-level geospatial workflows.
Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, clearly conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Skills Required
8+ years of experience delivering custom software solutions for web, cloud, and on-prem environments
Strong UI/UX skills with a focus on building responsive, user-friendly interfaces
Proficient in front-end and scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, and R; experienced in data extraction, manipulation, and visualization
Comfortable working with distributed development and operations teams
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
Able to work onsite 50% or as project needs require
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Software Engineering, User Interface Design, Graphics, or like technical fields
Degree or equivalent demonstrated experience in a technical field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Graphics , GIS.
Active TS/SCI clearance and US citizenship
Additional Skills Desired
Some familiarity in these areas would be fabulous.
Familiarity with concepts such as Data visualization; Data management, Data integration, User Interface, Databases
An adaptable and solution centric mindset that embraces technology enablers.
Familiarity with common industry software tools and concepts
Experience working with open-source resources in a government computing environment

The base pay for this position within California, Colorado, Hawaii, New Jersey, the Washington, DC metropolitan area, and for all other states is:
